Job summary

Pixery is seeking a QA Tester to join our global team, focusing on mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web platforms. You will execute manual and exploratory tests, report bugs with clear reproduction steps, and verify fixes across devices and OS versions.

You have excellent English communication, sharp attention to detail, and familiarity with issue trackers like Jira or Linear. Remote-friendly environment with flexible hours and regular learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile apps and/or web applications.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to reproduce a bug that only happens once in ten tries.
• Comfortable with issue tracking tools (Jira, Linear or similar).
• Curiosity about AI tools and a habit of asking 'can I get the machine to do this part for me?' rather than repeating the same steps by hand.
• Comfortable with context switching: our apps and projects move at different speeds.

Responsibilities

• Test our mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web applications before every release, following the release checklist and exploring beyond it.
• Try to break things: test like a real user would, then like a user wouldn’t, and identify what does not work.
• Report bugs clearly, with steps to reproduce, screenshots or screen recordings, and device/OS details.
• Verify fixes once the team ships them and ensure nothing else broke.
• Test on different devices, OS versions and screen sizes, focusing on onboarding, purchases and subscription flows.
• Monitor store reviews and user feedback to catch issues not yet noticed.
• Use AI tools to speed up work and share what works with the team.
• Maintain a proactive mindset with strong problem-solving initiative; take ownership and drive results.

What you will be working on:

• Test our mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web applications before every release, following the release checklist and exploring beyond it
• Try to break things: go through the app the way a real user would, then the way a user never would, and find what does not work
• Report bugs clearly, with steps to reproduce, screenshots or screen recordings, and the device and OS you saw them on
• Verify fixes once the team ships them and make sure nothing else broke along the way
• Test on different devices, OS versions and screen sizes, with extra attention to onboarding, purchases and subscription flows
• Keep an eye on store reviews and user feedback to catch issues we have not noticed yet
• Use AI tools to make your own work faster and share what works with the rest of the team
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving initiative; capable of taking full ownership and driving results

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience testing mobile apps and/or web applications, or a strong interest in QA with the attention to detail to back it up
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken), strong communication skills are a must
• Strong attention to detail and the patience to reproduce a bug that only happens once in ten tries
• Comfortable with issue tracking tools (Jira, Linear or similar)
• Curiosity about AI tools and a habit of asking 'can I get the machine to do this part for me?' rather than repeating the same steps by hand
• Comfortable with context switching: our apps and projects move at different speeds, and you will often work on more than one at a time
• Eagerness to learn and to take feedback

Nice to have:

• Using AI tools in your testing workflow: generating test data, triaging crash reports, drafting bug reports, automating repetitive checks
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman or similar)
• Experience testing in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Familiarity with crash reporting and analytics tools (Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel or similar)
