Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation in Gebze, Turkey, is seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to support our Colors & Flavors businesses. You will manage expenditures, evaluate suppliers, and integrate MRP with S&OP to enable automated procurement.

The role requires experience in purchasing and logistics, fluent Turkish and good English, a related bachelor's degree, and project management skills. You will work onsite five days per week and gain exposure to an international scope.

• Manage high expenditures while ensuring value and budget control

• Establish systems to perform export operations according to warehouse notes
• Responsible for non-conformities in services, negotiate complex contracts
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, including Hygiene Plans

We are looking for a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to join our team and support the Colors & Flavors businesses in Turkey. This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office.

What you’ll do:

• Manage high expenditures while ensuring value and budget control
• Evaluate supplier performance and suggest recommendations to improve
• Integrate Materials Requirement Planning functions with the Sales and Operation Planning process to enable automated procurement activities
• Establish systems to perform export operations, putting and getting goods according to the warehouse notes
• Responsible for non-conformities in the services performed, negotiate complex contracts for requisite service, quality and price
• Comply with internal policies such as Integrated System Policy, Integrated Manual, Procedures Management Systems (including Hygiene Plans)

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in purchasing and logistics
• Excellent communication skills with fluent Turkish and very good level of English
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics or any other related field
• Project management skills, ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of ERP systems processes
