The Village of Great Neck Plaza is seeking a full-time Public Works maintenance worker to perform essential tasks in our village in New York. Responsibilities include maintaining streets and sidewalks, collecting meters, servicing village vehicles, painting, landscaping, and facilities upkeep.

Qualifications

• Experience with street/sidewalk maintenance is required.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on-call for emergencies.
• Prior municipal maintenance experience preferred.
• Desirable training: operating a street sweeper and snow plowing.
