Job summary

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician for our properties in the Greater Atlanta area. This role supports Directors in maintenance and capital improvement efforts across assigned communities, handling inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely completion of work orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of property maintenance experience, is capable of collaborating with supervisors, residents, and vendors, and has their own tools plus a valid driver's

• Assist in make-ready process for vacant units to prepare for new move-ins.

Facilities Technician
Location: Greater Atlanta area, GA

Summary of Requirements:

• Working with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
• Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
• Prior property maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must have his/her own tools.
• A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience. It is essential that the Facilities Technician report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
