Job summary

Marsh Türkiye in Istanbul is seeking a qualified Risk Engineer to join our advisory team. You will perform on-site risk evaluations, focusing on fire, machinery and natural hazards, and prepare concise risk assessments for clients and insurers.

The role requires a graduate degree in engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong report writing and communication skills. This position offers hybrid collaboration with Marsh colleagues and opportunities to develop risk management

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in risk management or property engineering consulting.
• Good technical knowledge of property, engineering or manufacturing risk.
• Experience writing professional or technical summaries for management or leadership review.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site loss prevention evaluations that identify all reasonably foreseeable physical and human element exposures for Fire, Boiler and Machinery as well as Natural Hazards including Earthquake.
• Prepare concise and clear Risk Assessment reports, both to describe the risk to insurers and to assist clients with risk improvement.
• Provide risk management advice and consultancy on asset protection, fire engineering, security, risk management standards and training.
• Work with clients and Marsh colleagues to develop new and expanded business opportunities.
• Work with colleagues in Property Risk Consulting to develop new consulting services and products.
