Job summary

GÜRİŞ HOLDİNG, a leading Turkish conglomerate, invites applications for a Senior Project Manager position at the Artvin Yusufeli Mining Plant Project. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met while coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities.

The role requires a civil or mechanical engineering degree, at least 15 years of experience in large-scale mining or industrial plants, and

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, planning, cost control and contract management.
• Experience as a Project Manager or in a similar senior project management position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management of the project.
• Ensure the project is managed in accordance with scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor master schedule, critical path, budget, costs, risks and progress; take corrective actions.
• Manage contractual processes and overall project performance.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on progress, issues, risks and KPIs.
• Ensure HSE, environmental and quality requirements throughout the project.

Fort his role, you will be assigned to SANTRAL MINING, one of our subsidiaries, on a full-time basis at the Artvin Yusufeli Mining Plant Project construction site, in accordance with the qualifications specified below.

Required Qalifications

• Preferably a graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 15 years of project experience in large-scale mining or industrial plant projects,
• Preferably experienced in flotation plant projects,
• Experience in NATM tunnel construction,
• Experience in the construction and commissioning of at least one plant project of a similar type,
• Experience as a Project Manager or in a similar senior project management position,
• Strong experience in project management, budgeting, planning, cost control and contract management,
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project,
• Knowledge of OHS, environmental management, relevant legislation and EIA processes,
• Experience in managing relationships with local stakeholders and project stakeholders,
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills,
• Good command of English,
• Completed military service or exempt from military service (for male candidates)

• Monitor the master schedule, critical path, budget, costs, risks and project progress, and take necessary corrective actions,
• Effectively manage contractual processes and overall project performance,
• Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, critical issues, risks and performance indicators,
• Ensure the implementation and continuous compliance with HSE, environmental and quality requirements throughout the project.
