Job summary

Damen in Antalya, Turkey, seeks a naval project coordinator to drive successful execution of new build workboat projects. You will coordinate production activities, review drawings, and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, quality, and safety.

With a Bachelor’s in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and at least three years in shipbuilding, you will work with Engineering, Production and Procurement, optimizing resources and fostering continuous improvement in a live shipyard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of shipbuilding experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities across Engineering, Production, Procurement and other relevant departments.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules, identify deviations, and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to support production processes.
• Prepare material and order lists, technical specifications, and procurement requirements.
• Monitor workforce, capacity, and resource utilization to improve project efficiency.

Works closely with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution, optimal resource utilization, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project activities across Engineering, Production, Procurement, and other relevant departments.Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules, identify deviations, and report progress to the Project Manager.Follow up on production activities, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with project requirements.Review technical drawings and specifications to support production processes.Prepare material and order lists, technical specifications, and procurement requirements.Monitor workforce, capacity, and resource utilization to improve project efficiency.Identify technical and operational issues, coordinate corrective actions, and support problem-solving.Monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with shipyard standards and HSE requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality, productivity, and overall performance.Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the shipbuilding industry is mandatory.
