Job summary

Banvit MBRF in Turkey seeks a Food Quality & Production Associate to help ensure food safety and product quality through regular controls, inspections and monitoring activities. You will inspect incoming raw materials, support audits, and help drive corrective actions in production.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or related field, at least 1 year in production or quality roles, and familiarity with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production or quality roles.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP systems.
• Ability to follow legal, customer and Halal production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety and product quality through regular controls, inspections, and monitoring activities.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and report any non-conformities.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness.
• Identify, report, and follow up corrective and preventive actions in production.
• Make decisions on product release or usage in case of deviations.
• Conduct process trials and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain and apply food safety and quality systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO standards).
• Participate in HACCP activities, including traceability tests and documentation.
• Monitor hygiene and cleaning processes and report issues.
• Communicate food safety and quality concerns to the Quality Assurance team.
