Job summary

Sibelco in Turkey’s Karadeniz region is seeking a Production Operator at the Alipasa site. You will ensure installations operate according to procedures and monitor the line to deliver (semi-)finished products meeting specifications.

The role requires a lower degree and prior experience in a similar role, with technical English. You will work with maintenance teams and weighbridge/bagging operators to maintain continuous production while following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle and adjust installations according to procedures and policies.
• Serves pumps, opens and closes taps, etc.
• Fixes alerts.
• Analyze and perform multiple quality checks of products to meet process requirements.
• Identify non-conformities and address others to ensure quality products.
• Control the amount of products produced by an installation.
• Carry out auxiliary tasks to the production process per procedures and supervisors.
• Perform small maintenance and assist maintenance technicians and electricians in larger maintenance activities.
• Work with weighbridge operators and bagging operators to ensure continuous production.
• Enter production data into the required IT system.
• Ensure the use of PPE and safekeeping as per safety policy.
