Job summary

Sibelco Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Controller to lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Calti region. You will analyze variances, collaborate with operations to boost profitability, and manage cost structures across manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities include monthly closings, financial reporting to local and corporate stakeholders, internal controls, and participation in audits and strategic projects such as ERP upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead cluster-level financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Deliver monthly performance reviews with analysis of variances (actuals vs. plan/forecast).
• Partner with operations to drive profitability and efficiency.
• Monitor manufacturing cost structures including standard costing, variances, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze production metrics, material usage, labor, and overhead absorption.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives in collaboration with production and supply chain teams.
• Contribute to monthly closing process.
• Prepare and present timely financial reports to local and corporate stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements (IFRS/GAAP/local).
• Contribute to internal and external audits process.
• Support capital investment decisions with business case analysis and ROI modeling.
• Participate in strategic projects (automation, expansion, ERP upgrades, etc.).
