Job summary

deinetuete.de, a German ambitious, fast-growing company in the food packaging industry, seeks a proactive team member to support supply, sourcing and quality control in Istanbul. You will coordinate with manufacturers, monitor production, and manage orders to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in packaging, fluent Turkish, strong English (B2/C1), a valid Class B driving licence, and willingness to travel for facility visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in packaging industry.
• Must visit production facilities daily to monitor processes on site.
• Residence in Istanbul, preferably European side.
• Fluent English (B2/C1).
• Turkish native proficiency.
• Valid Class B driving licence and comfortable driving own car.
• Willingness to travel for production facility visits.
• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with a detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communication with manufacturers to ensure orders meet technical specs and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate prices, MOQs, lead times and payment terms.
• Place and manage purchase orders.
• Monitor production, quality and delivery timelines.
• Inspect samples and finished products for compliance with drawings and customer requirements.
• Coordinate freight, imports and warehouse deliveries.
• Manage inventory levels and replenishment.
• Handle supplier issues, delays and claims.
• Maintain product, supplier and purchasing data.
• Ensure required certificates and compliance documents.
• Continuously optimize purchasing and supply chain costs.
• Ensure quality standards are met at production stages.
• Identify potential production issues and develop solutions with relevant departments.
• Anticipate delays and propose preventive actions.
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure in a dynamic production environment.
• Support coordination of production and shipping to meet delivery deadlines.
• Always act in the best interest of the employer.
