Job summary

Banvit MBRF, a global foods group with production in Bandırma, seeks a senior procurement lead to coordinate teams and drive strategic sourcing across Energy, CAPEX, MRO, Services and Production Support. You will negotiate contracts, optimize costs, manage supplier performance, and ensure budgeting alignment.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement within manufacturing, strong category management, and the ability to collaborate across functions while based in Bandırma or relocating there.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or production operations.
• Experience coordinating or guiding a team within procurement or a related function.
• Strong experience in supplier negotiations, contract management and cost optimization.
• Good understanding of supplier management, procurement budgeting, market analysis and supply risk management.
• Living in Bandırma or willing to relocate to Bandırma.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement team and support the effective execution of sourcing and purchasing activities across production operations.
• Manage procurement activities for Energy, CAPEX, MRO, Services and Production Support categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies, annual sourcing plans and strategic sourcing initiatives in line with business priorities.
• Manage supplier negotiations, tenders and contracts, focusing on cost, quality, service and commercial terms.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers, and monitor supplier performance.
• Conduct market, supplier and spend analyses to identify savings and value creation opportunities.
• Support procurement budgeting and drive initiatives related to cost optimization, payment terms and working capital.
• Identify supply risks, develop contingency plans and support the development of alternative suppliers.
• Contribute to procurement process improvements and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
