Job summary

Banvit MBRF, a leading Turkish food manufacturer, seeks a seasoned Procurement Manager to coordinate sourcing across production operations in Bandırma. You will lead a team, negotiate with suppliers, and develop category strategies across Energy, CAPEX, MRO and Services.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field and at least 8 years in procurement, with strong cost optimization and risk management skills, fluent English, and willingness to relocate to Bandırma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 8 years procurement experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Experience coordinating or guiding a team within procurement.
• Strong experience in technical procurement and strategic sourcing in Energy, CAPEX, MRO, Services and/or Production Support.
• Supplier negotiations, contract management and cost optimization experience.
• Knowledge of supplier management, procurement budgeting, market analysis and supply risk.
• Fluent in English.
• Living in Bandırma or willing to relocate to Bandırma.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement team and support the effective execution of sourcing and purchasing activities across production operations.
• Manage procurement activities for Energy, CAPEX, MRO, Services and Production Support categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies, annual sourcing plans and strategic sourcing initiatives in line with business priorities.
• Manage supplier negotiations, tenders and contracts, focusing on cost, quality, service and commercial terms.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers, and monitor supplier performance.
• Conduct market, supplier and spend analyses to identify savings and value creation opportunities.
• Support procurement budgeting and drive initiatives related to cost optimization, payment terms and working capital.
• Identify supply risks, develop contingency plans and support the development of alternative suppliers.
• Contribute to procurement process improvements and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
