Job summary

The Process Safety Specialist at Diageo Türkiye's Alasehir site supports the effective implementation of Diageo’s Process Safety policies and standards on site. You’ll identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.

You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams to strengthen process safety culture, lead HAZOP and LOPA studies, and support MOC, PSSR and permit-to-work processes across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Process Safety, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, or HSE (preferably in manufacturing plants).
• Good command of English.
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify technical topics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
• Familiarity with key process safety elements (MOC, PSSR, permit-to-work, safe work practices).
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation (e.g., P&IDs).
• Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead HAZOP, LOPA and other risk assessment studies, ensuring actions are defined and tracked to completion.
• Support the accuracy and maintenance of process safety information and contribute to procedures and permit-to-work systems.
• Support MOC, PSSR, and ensure process safety requirements are applied in projects and audits.
