Job summary

Sensient Technologies in Gebze, Turkey, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvements across operations. You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to resolve technical issues and share best practices globally.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related field and strong English/Turkish communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, Food Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
Solid years of experience in process engineering within food, beverage, ingredients, chemical, or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality systems, and EHS requirements preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, process documentation, operating parameters, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues.
Investigate process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Optimize process parameters to improve product consistency and reduce waste, energy consumption, and manufacturing costs.
Promote continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Work with global process and operations teams to share best practices and standardize manufacturing processes where applicable.
