Job summary

Jotun in Turkey seeks a chemical engineer to develop and optimise production processes and formulations. You will support operators, update processes per R&D guidance, and ensure Right First Time outputs with stable throughput. Fluency in English and Turkish and 2+ years in chemical manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of process equipment and polymer chemistry.
• Fluent in English and Turkish with strong communication skills.
• Min. 2 years of work experience in chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimised production processes/formulation to ensure Right First Time and stable throughput.
• Make formulations available for production with specific and optimized process parameters.
• Update and change processes as required from Group and Regional R&D.
• Support and coach production operators with process optimization daily.
• Optimize processes to maintain competitiveness within regional/global R&D framework.
• Provide technical support and cooperate closely with maintenance.
• Follow up on process and quality deviations.
• Describe local production processes for training of operators.
• Provide training to relevant personnel.
• Evaluate need for improvements.
• Provide compliance documents for standards like IATF, ISO, REACH, ROHS, etc.
