Job summary

Vodafone Türkiye is seeking a Telecommunications engineer to support radio network planning and optimization for 2G/3G/4G/5G across the region. You will review performance data, plan site parameters, and drive tests to sustain coverage and quality.

The role requires an Electrical/ Electronics/ Communications degree and at least 1 year in telecom network operations, with willingness to travel nationwide and proficiency in planning tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Communications engineering.
• At least 1 year in telecom or GSM/UMTS/4G/5G network operation management.
• Technical competence on network quality.
• Familiar with planning tools.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel within the country.
• Valid driver's license with active driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with 2G/3G/4G/5G radio technologies.
• Plan using smart network technologies for sites.
• Review regional network performance and take actions to improve coverage and quality.
• Determine frequency and parameters for new sites.
• Carry out drive tests and ensure the required 2G/3G/4G/5G network readiness.
• Prepare TSS files for new/revised sites and submit to BTK for site certification.

What you’ll do

• Need to be familiar with 2G/3G/4G/5G Radio technologies.
• Familiar with Planning by smart network Technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G sites)
• Review the network performance in the region through all quality and performance reports; and ensures necessary actions are taken to sustain & improve the coverage and quality of the 2G/3G/4G/5G network
• Ensure the forming of all necessary frequency and parameters related to the new site which will be planned
• Realise the required drive tests and ensure the required 2G/3G/4G/5G network accordingly
• Manage the performing of TSS file preparations of new/revision sites and submission of files to BTK for site certification.

Who you are

• Graduated from Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineer
• Min. 1 years telecommunication or GSM/UMTS/4G/5G network operation management experience
• Technical competence on network quality
• Understands the capabilities of Planning tools
• Excellent MS Office applications
• Must be able to travel in country
• Basic Knowledge of Huawei Equipments, features
• Driver license with Active driving experience
