Job summary

WhiteBIT, a leading crypto fintech company, seeks an Operations Specialist for our Turkey operations. You will execute daily processes, monitor controls, and investigate transaction exceptions across fiat and crypto activities, coordinating with Treasury, Finance, and tech teams to resolve issues.

You will maintain SOPs, runbooks, and evidence while tracking KPIs and supporting regulatory and MI requests. Strong analytical skills, Turkish/English fluency, and Excel/Tableau experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or finance-related field.
• 5-7 years of operations experience in crypto, fintech, payments, banking, brokerage, or high-volume digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, reconciliations, exception management, incident escalation, SOPs, and controls.
• Familiarity with fiat and crypto deposit/withdrawal processes preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to investigate across multiple systems/teams.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets; SQL/Tableau experience is an advantage.
• Strong ticket-writing, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Turkish and English at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor daily WhiteBIT TR operational processes and controls.
• Investigate fiat and crypto transaction exceptions and discrepancies.
• Coordinate reconciliations with Treasury, Finance, partners, and technical teams.
• Coordinate incidents and escalations with Support, Compliance, and Engineering.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, evidence, trackers, and handover notes.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, queues, and deviation reports; raise material issues.
• Support regulatory, audit, and MI requests with accurate data and evidence.
• Assist testing and rollout of new products; changes to processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in operations within crypto, fintech, payments, banking, brokerage, e-commerce, or another high-volume digital platform.
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, reconciliations, exception management, incident escalation, SOPs, and operational controls.
• Familiarity with fiat and crypto deposit and withdrawal processes is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues across multiple systems and teams.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with SQL, Tableau, or other BI tools is an advantage.
• Strong ticket-writing, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize urgent customer-impacting or financial-risk issues while maintaining control of routine tasks.
• High attention to detail, ownership, confidentiality, and comfort working in a regulated environment.
• Native Turkish and English at a minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and monitor assigned daily WhiteBIT TR operational processes and controls.
• Investigate fiat and crypto transaction exceptions, balance discrepancies, stuck processes, and customer-impacting operational issues.
• Perform or support reconciliations and coordinate discrepancies with Treasury, Finance, payment partners, and technical teams.
• Coordinate incidents and escalations with Support, Compliance, Financial Monitoring, Product, Security, and Engineering.
• Maintain complete operational evidence, trackers, handover notes, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Monitor agreed KPIs, SLAs, queues, and exception reports, and promptly raise material deviations.
• Support local regulatory, audit, and management information requests by collecting accurate operational data and evidence.
• Assist with the testing and rollout of new products, integrations, admin-panel features, and process changes.
• Identify recurring manual work, failure points, and control gaps, and propose automation or process improvements.
• Provide backup coverage for critical operational processes and ensure clear handovers during absences or incidents.
