Job summary

Expro Türkiye is seeking an Operator to join our Subsea team for offshore operations. You will assist under supervision with the preparation and running of equipment, ensuring safe, compliant operations and delivering quality service to the client.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and progression through competencies. Onshore bases may be involved for prep and return of equipment, with strong liaison to client representatives and offshore supervision.

Qualifications

• Formal technical qualification required.
• Practical operational experience with electro-hydraulic and/or direct hydraulic equipment.
• Demonstrable previous technical experience preferably within the subsea field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task in line with the Operating manual.
• Undertake checks on all equipment for compliance with policies, standards and procedures and ensure they are technically correct for the operation.
• Attend toolbox talks and planning meetings when required.
• May be required to work at onshore bases in preparation and return of equipment.
• Liaise with clients representatives in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client.
• Liaise with offshore Supervisor and operations department to ensure effective communication & safe operations.
• Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures and client requirements.
• Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete competencies for current and next role.

Overall Purpose of the Job

We are looking for an Operator to join our Subsea team for operations in Turkiye. Working within a team you will assist, under supervision, with the preparation and running of equipment offshore ensuring successful safe operations in accordance with Company procedures and thereby ensuring a quality service to client.

Key Activities And Accountabilities

• Carry out operations with team members ensuring safe completion of the operational task with prevention of technical issues in line with the Operating manual
• Undertake checks on all equipment for their compliance with Expro’s policies, standards and procedures and ensure they are technically correct for the operation being carried out
• Attend and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required
• May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation and return of equipment
• Liaise with clients representatives when required in a professional manner ensuring quality of service to client
• Liaise with offshore Supervisor, team members, and operations department to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties ensuring effective communication & safe operations
• Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes and specific client’s requirements
• Work with colleagues and Supervisor to complete required competencies for current and next role

Job Knowledge And Qualifications

• Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade
• Formal technical qualification
• Practical operational experience with Electro-Hydraulic and/or Direct Hydraulic equipment
• Demonstrable previous technical experience preferably within the Subsea field
