Job summary

Trendyol is seeking a Network Engineer to strengthen our fintech infrastructure, ensuring the network, firewall, and load balancer operate with maximum uptime, robust security, and high performance. You will contribute to a PCI-DSS compliant, low-latency environment supporting high‑volume financial transactions.

In a hybrid model with opportunities to work from abroad, you will rapidly respond to incidents, perform RCAs, and harden our infrastructure while collaborating with our international

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of switching, routing, TCP/IP; familiarity with VPNs, VLANs, and BGP/OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, NAT, IPS/IDS, and security policy design.
• Experience in L4/L7 load balancing.
• Fintech, banking, or high-traffic environments are a plus.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues.

• Maintain a 7/24 high-availability, low-latency, PCI-DSS compliant environment for high-volume transactions.
• Optimize application traffic with load balancing configurations and design HA architectures.
• Respond to network issues and security incidents, perform RCA, and harden infrastructure against threats.

About the Role

As a Network Engineer at Trendyol, you will be responsible for strengthening our dynamic fintech infrastructure and ensuring our network and security architecture operates with maximum uptime, robust security, and high performance:

• Responsible for the deployment, configuration, and end-to-end management of the company's network, firewall, and load balancer infrastructure.
• Maintain a 7/24 high-availability, low-latency, and highly secure environment (PCI-DSS compliant) capable of handling high-volume financial transactions.
• Optimize application traffic using load balancing configurations and design redundant, high-availability (HA) architectures.
• Rapidly respond to network issues and security incidents, perform root cause analyses (RCA), and proactively harden the infrastructure against emerging threats.

Qualities We Are Looking For

• Deep theoretical and practical foundation in switching, routing, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, VLANs, and dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise-grade firewalls, rule management, NAT, IPS/IDS, and security policy design.
• Experience in L4/L7 load balancing
• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or managing high-traffic, mission‑critical environments is a plus.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues efficiently.
