Job summary

WLG is seeking a skilled requirements engineer to support a major defence programme. The role focuses on collecting, managing, and tracing capability and technical requirements for a complex command and control initiative, with relocation to Norfolk, Virginia under NATO-5 visa arrangements.

You will engage stakeholders at political, operational and tactical levels, maintain policy guidance, and ensure alignment with governance models while delivering measurable benefits across the programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher required.
• 3+ years in requirements engineering across management and elicitation.
• Capability development experience under a governance model.
• Experience on communications or infrastructure programmes in classified environments.
• Hands-on with IBM Rational DOORS.

Responsibilities

• Review and update requirements management plans.
• Maintain benefits realization and policy guidance.
• Engage stakeholders at political, operational and tactical levels.
• Ensure traceability and validity of requirements.
• Cooperate with QA and programme teams to align with best practice.
• Author sections of capability programme plans.
