Job summary

Centurion is seeking a motivated Medical Science Liaison to represent the company with a solid medical and scientific vision, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and implement medical objectives in their field of responsibility.

The role requires a medical doctor or pharmacist, 1+ year in pharma, and willingness to travel frequently. You will engage with KOLs, provide scientific information, and support clinical projects while adhering to industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Medical doctor or pharmacist degree required.
• Minimum 1 year pharma industry experience; MSL or similar role preferred.
• Experience in rare diseases, oncology/hematology, cardiology appreciated.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines and environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the therapy areas by literature review and KOLs.
• Implement the medical objectives and coordinate with other medical colleagues.
• Support physicians with medical and scientific information.
• Identify and develop relationships with KOLs for high-level scientific exchanges.
• Ensure compliance with policies; report to Head of Clinical Medical Compliance and PV.
• Provide medical trainings to internal/external partners and represent Centurion at scientific congresses.
• Support publications and medical interest initiatives.
• Follow clinical studies and medical projects; engage with academic centers.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Medical doctor or pharmacist.
• Experience: Minimum one year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Medical Affairs experience in a similar field medical role, and experience in rare diseases, metabolic diseases, oncology/hematology, or cardiology (PAH) will be an asset. Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and industry guidelines.
• System Skills: Computer literacy, including good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• High team coordination, analytical thinking, and high communication skills.
• Motivated team player, agile, and result-oriented.
• High level of problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel frequently with no restrictions, and a valid driving license.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the therapy areas by reviewing literature and discussing with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders (working 60% in the field and 40% in the office).
• Implement the medical objectives and tactics in your area of responsibility and cooperate with other medical colleagues to fulfill department objectives.
• Support requests from physicians regarding medical and scientific information on products or therapeutic areas.
• Identify and develop relationships with KOLs for the purpose of ethical and high-level exchange of scientific information, and collect medical insights.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, reporting directly to the Head of Clinical Medical Compliance and PV.
• Provide medical trainings to internal and external partners (e.g., speaker briefings) and represent Centurion in scientific congresses.
• Provide KOLs with necessary scientific and technical support for scientific publications or medical interest.
• Follow assigned clinical studies and medical projects, and represent Centurion in key academic centers by conducting research and educational initiatives.
