Qualifications
- University degree from Medical Faculty
- At least 2‑year experience in pharma sector
- At least 1 year experience in oncology therapeutic area
- Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences
- Excellent project management ability
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
- Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Good at teamwork
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish
- No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license
- Located in İstanbul
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Adapting global/international strategy to local market and developing/implementing local medical plan
- Developing and implementing pre‑launch plan & activities for new products at least 2 years prior to the planned launch to address critical clinical and scientific challenges
- Shaping healthcare practice through evidence generation, publications, and KEE engagement; proactively identifying HCPs with high levels of scientific expertise in local treatment practice to collaborate on specific activities and contribute medicomarketing strategy
- Working with HCPs and relevant stakeholders in scientific activities that help advance patient journey and disease understanding
- Providing medical leadership for scientific programmes, including national congresses, advisory boards, scientific exchange meetings, publications, and CMEs etc. Close collaboration with internal stakeholders including Clinical Operations, Regulatory & Market Access, etc.
- Actively participating in International/Global activities
- Building AZ relationship with key external stakeholders (e.g. patient advocacy groups, key medical organizations, etc.). Find opportunities to collaborate with such external stakeholders
- Providing the AZ internal stakeholders with an understanding of the local medical community, clinical practice, trends and real or perceived gaps in current scientific knowledge and medical treatment, competitor information
- Initiating and conducting appropriate field force training & development on information regarding current and emerging clinical data and emerging trends in clinical medicine and practice within TA
