Job summary

Randstad Türkiye is seeking a Medical Manager to lead a two-person Medical Science Liaison team and drive the local medical plan for an endocrinology portfolio. You will engage key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, aligning with global brand strategies, and guide IIS/observational studies while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

The role requires an MD degree, 6–8 years in medical affairs, English fluency, and strong cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Market

• Oversee regional clinical data generation, IIS, observational studies, and advisory boards.
• Provide scientific input to Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, and Training teams.
• Ensure all medical materials and activities comply with local regulations and governance standards.

Job description

We are looking for a "Medical Manager" for our client operating in the pharmaceutical industry which specializes in treatments for rare diseases.
Team Leadership People Management: Direct, coach, and evaluate a team of 2 MSLs, setting operational targets and overseeing their field engagement plans.
Medical Strategy Execution: Develop and implement the local medical plan for the Endocrinology portfolio, aligning with global brand strategies and pre/post-launch objectives.
KOL Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain ethical, scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and medical societies.
Clinical Scientific Support: Oversee regional clinical data generation, investigator-initiated studies (IIS), observational research, and advisory boards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the scientific expert providing medical input to Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, and Training teams.
Compliance Material Review: Ensure all medical materials, educational activities, and field communications strictly comply with local regulations and internal governance standards.

qualifications

Education: Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree is required.
Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of medical affairs experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Therapeutic Expertise: Prior experience or deep scientific knowledge in Endocrinology is strongly preferred.
Leadership Skills: Proven track record or demonstrated capacity for people management, team leadership, and talent development.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Core Competencies: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, scientific presentation, and negotiation skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
