Job summary

Assan Hanil in Kocaeli Plant invites a seasoned Material Planning Executive to join Planning and Logistics. You will manage material requirements, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure uninterrupted production.

The role requires strong experience in material planning, SAP ERP proficiency, and English communication; familiarity with Milk-Run operations and cost optimization is a plus. You will collaborate across Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and suppliers to optimize flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in material planning and logistics, preferably automotive.
• Experience with material requirements planning, inventory and shipments; supplier management.
• Proficient in SAP ERP and advanced Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of foreign trade and customs processes.
• Milk-Run operations and route optimization knowledge.
• Experience in logistics cost analysis and cost improvement initiatives.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli or Sakarya.

Responsibilities

• Manage material requirements planning aligned with orders and production plans.
• Monitor requirements, supply plans and deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate planning and shipment with domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and critical materials for optimum stock.
• Improve warehouse capacity, material flow, and shipment efficiency.
• Optimize Milk-Run routes, capacity, and frequency.
• Monitor supplier logistics performance and costs; drive improvements.
• Support logistics budget and track actual costs.
• Track and report KPIs related to material planning and logistics.
• Identify material supply risks early and coordinate actions.
• Lead process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure effective coordination of material flow between Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and suppliers.

We are looking for a Material Planning Executive to join the Planning and Logistics Department, Commercial Operations Directorate at the Kocaeli Plant of Assan Hanil, one of the Kibar Holding Group companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in material planning and logistics, preferably within the automotive industry,
• Strong experience in material requirements planning, inventory management, shipment operations, and supplier management,
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and advanced Excel,
• Good command of English,
• Knowledge of foreign trade and customs processes,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Experience in Milk-Run operations and logistics route optimization,
• Experience in logistics cost analysis and cost improvement initiatives,
• Completed military service for male candidates,
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli or Sakarya.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material requirements planning in line with customer orders and production plans,
• Monitor material requirements, supply plans, and deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production,
• Coordinate material planning and shipment processes with domestic and international suppliers,
• Monitor inventory levels and critical materials and ensure optimum inventory levels,
• Coordinate initiatives to improve warehouse capacity, material flow, and shipment efficiency,
• Optimize routes, vehicle capacity, and shipment frequency within Milk-Run operations,
• Monitor supplier logistics performance and logistics costs and coordinate continuous improvement actions,
• Support logistics budget preparation and monitor actual costs,
• Track, analyze, and report KPIs related to material planning and logistics processes,
• Identify potential material supply risks in advance and coordinate necessary actions,
• Manage process improvement and cost reduction projects related to inventory, logistics, and material flow,
• Ensure effective coordination of material flow between Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and suppliers.
