Job summary

Hutchinson Izmir invites a skilled Material Planner to join our aviation supply chain team. You will manage end-to-end material planning, track purchase orders, reschedule as needed, and coordinate with production and logistics to ensure timely material availability.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree, has 3+ years in a similar role, speaks fluent English, and is proficient in SAP and MS Office, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or BS in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
• Analytical and proactive problem-solving, results and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end material planning activities to ensure material availability aligned with production plans and demand.
• Manage ordering activities for the assigned product group in line with planning outputs.
• Track and follow up purchase order confirmations to align with planned quantities and delivery dates.
• Re-schedule orders by reviewing changing requirements and updating dates/quantities as needed.
• Share materials ready for shipment with Logistics to trigger transit processes.
• Manage scrap and replacement ordering by planning replacement orders as identified.
• Determine required materials based on production plans and translate into material needs.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure alignment with planning parameters.

Your main missions

In this capacity, your missions revolve around various topics:

• Conducting end-to-end material planning activities by ensuring material availability in line with production plans and demand requirements,
• Managing ordering activities for the assigned product group by executing orders in line with planning outputs and approved requirements,
• Tracking and following up purchase order confirmations to ensure alignment with planned quantities and delivery dates,
• Conducting order re-scheduling activities by reviewing changing requirements and updating order dates and quantities, when necessary,
• Sharing information about materials ready for shipment with the Logistics team to trigger the transit process for the materials,
• Managing scrap and replacement ordering processes by planning replacement orders in line with identified scrap quantities,
• Determining required materials based on production plans by translating production requirements into material needs,
• Conducting inventory management activities by monitoring stock levels and ensuring alignment with planning parameters.

Your profile

• You have preferably an Engineering degree or aBS degree,
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position,
• You have very good knowledge of spoken and written English(to contact with our partners internationally),
• You have very good knowledgeof Microsoft Office Programs and SAP,
• You have strong analytical and proactive problem solving skills, are result and detail oriented.
