Job summary

Alstom in Bursa seeks a Material Planner to manage material planning and supplier coordination within a global mobility leader. You will collaborate with Procurement, Production and Project Management to ensure timely deliveries and optimize the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Take on supply chain and material planning responsibilities across projects.
• Ensure seamless delivery of materials and efficiency of the supply chain.
• Work with Procurement, Production, and Project Management; manage supplier portfolios.
• Express delivery needs using dedicated tools and monitor supplier performance.
• Analyze supplier confirmations vs Alstom needs and identify risks.
• Identify and implement recovery actions for supply chain risks.
• Hold regular reviews with suppliers on delivery status and performance.
• Manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning with project objectives.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive supply chain and material planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, strategic, and collaborative teammates.

You’ll ensure the seamless delivery of materials, contributing to the success of our projects and the efficiency of our supply chain. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Production, Project Management), manage supplier portfolios, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of expressing delivery needs using dedicated tools, as well as monitoring and driving supplier performance improvements.

We’ll look to you for:

At least, 3 years experience in Material Planning or Production Planning

Effective communication of material planning documents to suppliers and following up on confirmations

Analysis of supplier confirmations versus Alstom needs and evaluating potential risks and impacts

Identification and implementation of recovery actions for supply chain risks

Regular reviews with suppliers to check the status of deliveries and performance

Management of MRP exception messages and anticipation of supply problems

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align material planning with project objectives
