Job summary

The Plains Tire & Auto is seeking a highly skilled, full-time Master Technician to perform complex repairs and oversee quality across repairs and maintenance. You will train other technicians while ensuring every job meets high standards of accuracy and safety.

Applicants should be ASE Certified Master Technicians, at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work across many vehicle makes and models. Weekend availability is required.

As we continue to serve The Plains, VA, and the surrounding areas, as well as out-of-town travelers, we are seeking a highly skilled, full-time Auto Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our dynamic team!

Master technicians are responsible for performing our most technically complex repair work, as well as overseeing the quality of repairs and maintenance performed by other technicians. Master Technicians are responsible not only for the service we provide, but also The Plains Tire & Auto's reputation as a trustworthy and dependable auto shop. A successful Master Technician will have a very strong understanding of automotive maintenance & repair, strong attention to detail, ability to train other technicians on proper repair techniques, and a dedication to honesty and fairness.

Master Technicians Are Responsible For

• Performing a wide range of complex repairs across multiple makes and models of vehicles
• Inspecting the work of other technicians and ensuring it meets The Plains Tire & Auto's high standards
• Training other technicians on proper service procedures and techniques
