Job summary

OREDATA is seeking a Data Scientist (LLM) to join our team, focusing on designing, developing and evaluating LLM-based and retrieval augmented generation solutions for aviation industry projects. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into practical AI capabilities.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and building scalable AI products.

Qualifications

• - 5+ years of professional experience in data science, ML, AI, data engineering or related roles.
• - Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI use cases.
• - Experience designing, building, or improving RAG-based applications.
• - Experience with embeddings, vector search, document retrieval, chunking, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• - Architectural perspective plus hands-on implementation capability.
• - Experience with chatbot/conversational AI or knowledge‑base products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and improve LLM-based and RAG solutions.
• Develop internal chatbots and conversational AI products.
• Prepare, retrieve, enrich, and optimize knowledge sources for AI apps.
• Evaluate LLM performance and improve prompts, retrieval, and model selection.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and business teams to translate needs into AI solutions.
• Contribute to the technical design of Generative AI solutions with scalability and security in mind.
• Support other data/AI initiatives beyond RAG projects.
• Stay updated on Generative AI, AI agents, and RAG architectures.
