Job summary

Philip Morris International's manufacturing site in İzmir–Torbalı is seeking a Line Lead to take end-to-end accountability for a production line and drive improvements across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will lead daily direction settings, coaching, and performance reviews to build a high-performing team.

You will champion OPEN+ practices, foster a zero-loss mindset, and partner with Quality and other functions to prevent incidents and ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial, Chemical or related Engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proven experience leading production teams with direct people-management responsibility.
• Strong understanding of production processes, operational performance and loss elimination.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of MS Office; Power BI and AI tools are an advantage.
• Experience with OPEN+ and related operational excellence methodologies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned production line(s) with end-to-end ownership for delivering business results.
• Ensure production plan adherence and drive strong, sustainable operational performance.
• Lead Daily Direction Setting, performance reviews and timely corrective actions.
• Build and develop an autonomous and self-sufficient team in line with the OPEN+ journey.
• Coach team members to strengthen ownership, technical capabilities, digital maturity and leadership skills.
• Create an environment where people are motivated to contribute their talents, ideas and full potential.
• Build strong relationships across production and supporting functions to align priorities and deliver business outcomes.
• Role model OPEN+ tools through the Learn-Do-Teach approach.
• Develop a strong continuous improvement and zero-loss mindset within the team.
• Promote benchmarking, knowledge sharing and reapplication across the organization.
