EPAM Systems is seeking a hands-on Python Azure Solution Architect to lead a greenfield MaaS platform on Microsoft Azure. You will guide a team of 5+ engineers and own the design and deployment of scalable backend services for financial models.
The role combines backend engineering with technical leadership, focusing on APIs, model deployment, and secure Azure environments. Strong communication and Agile collaboration are required.
Competenze
- 8+ years of software/data engineering experience, with leadership exposure.
- Strong Python expertise including async operations and REST APIs.
- Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and Azure cloud services.
Mansioni
- Drive technical design and backend development for the MaaS platform in Azure.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs for deploying and managing financial models.
- Lead a 5+ engineers team and provide mentorship.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python and modern frameworks.
- Establish secure CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and ensure quality.
