Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to lead AI-driven analytics solutions in a cloud-enabled environment. You will collaborate with Software Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI-powered products.

Your role includes building AI Agents, data applications, and the platform that supports them. You will design and implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud infrastructure, while driving governance,

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML/Data roles delivering production solutions.
• Strong Python proficiency and software engineering practices.
• Experience with data platforms, data lakes/warehouses.
• Experience with Power BI for analytics delivery.
• English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Build AI Agents using modern LLM frameworks for analytics, automation, and decision-making.
• Connect AI Agents to internal data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Help build the internal platform to host, deploy, and monitor AI Agents.
• Create data applications, tools, and interfaces using Python and React/JS, including APIs and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for AI and analytics data.
• Implement and manage AI solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
