Job summary

DEVA Holding A.Ş. in Turkey seeks a Lawyer to develop a career in intellectual property law and manage national and international trademark matters. The role requires a law degree, English fluency, and up to 1 year of IP law experience.

You will support filings, renewals, oppositions, and related procedures, coordinate with external attorneys, and draft pleadings while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing national and international trademark applications, registrations, renewals and oppositions.
• Monitoring trademark portfolios and coordinating procedures.
• Supporting litigation and related IP matters, including pleadings and hearings.
• Providing legal support to internal departments on trademark/IP matters.
• Supporting trademark searches and risk assessments.
• Reviewing trademark bulletins and coordinating oppositions.
• Coordinating with external trademark attorneys and law firms.
• Preparing reports on trademark applications and registrations.
• Assisting in internal reporting and file management within the department.

Job Description

• Supporting and managing national and international trademark application, registration, renewal and opposition processes,
• Monitoring trademark portfolios and coordinating relevant procedures,
• Supporting litigation and other legal proceedings relating to trademark disputes, including preparation of pleadings and attendance at hearings,
• Providing legal support to internal departments on trademark and other IP-related matters,
• Supporting trademark searches and risk assessments,
• Review national and international trademark bulletins, identify potentially conflicting applications, and coordinate opposition and other necessary actions,
• Coordinating communications and workflows with external trademark attorneys and law firms, both domestically and internationally,
• Preparing structured and trackable reports regarding trademark applications and registrations,
• Supporting internal reporting and file management processes within the department.
