Job summary

Gratis İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. in Türkiye seeks a BI engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

You will craft interactive dashboards in Power BI and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics for a network spanning hundreds of stores. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in BI/Analytics, advanced SQL, ETL/ELT skills, and a solid grasp of dimensional modeling and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 3–5 years of BI, data warehousing or analytics experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory and OneLake.
• Strong Power BI experience with data modeling, DAX and Power Query.
• Advanced SQL with complex query writing and optimization.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience designing ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric components.
• Develop interactive dashboards and KPI visuals in Power BI.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable BI and reporting solutions.
• Design and maintain efficient data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop, optimize and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects for reporting and analytical workloads.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure reliable, accurate and timely data integration.
• Optimize Power BI datasets, semantic models, DAX measures and report performance.
• Collaborate closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve BI solutions to ensure scalability, reliability and performance.
• Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Microsoft data platform best practices and emerging technologies.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Analytics
• Preferably experienced with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, and OneLake
• Strong experience in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M) and dashboard development
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, with experience writing and optimizing complex queries
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
