Job summary

Intertech Information Technology and Marketing Inc. is seeking a middleware platform engineer to join a Kubernetes-centric team. You will manage middleware stacks (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka) and OpenShift/Anthos environments, driving automation and observability improvements.

The role involves deploying and maintaining middleware components, ensuring capacity, performance, and secure service communication across DevOps pipelines within a dynamic, international project setting.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux operating systems and container technologies; Kubernetes ecosystem and DevOps culture familiarity preferred.
Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift and/or Google Anthos.
Hands-on with middleware components and platform-level installations, configurations, monitoring, and version management.

Responsibilities

Oversee middleware platforms, Kubernetes infrastructure, and DevOps processes.
Manage middleware clusters (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Flink, Layer7, MuleSoft) and OpenShift/Anthos environments.
Install, configure, monitor, and update products for performance and capacity.
Handle Kubernetes/OpenShift health, continuity, and resource optimization.
Work with Service Mesh architectures (Gloo Mesh) and traffic/traceability concerns.
Improve automation via Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
Participate in CI/CD, GitOps, and artifact management workflows.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams.
