Job summary

UPM Adhesive Materials seeks a Junior Sales Manager in Istanbul, Türkiye, to drive sales across Turkiye Caucasian Countries and the Middle East. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Technical Support to understand our portfolio and build strong market knowledge.

You will accelerate growth by developing campaigns, maintaining relationships, and supporting pricing and distribution strategies while traveling domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• A university degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of industrial markets (B2B), products and services, sustainability and sales processes.
• Experience in the self-adhesive label industry or FMCG is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan sales, activities and campaigns for an assigned geography, market segment or customers.
• Monitor sales volume, revenues, payments, credit risks and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and suggest solutions.
• Develop relationships and build trust with customers to successfully negotiate sales with existing and potential customers for our mutual benefit.
• Collaborate with internal partners (customer service, supply chain, production, corporate functions etc) to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Manage and develop relationships with traders to ensure fulfillment of agreed standards of service.
• Contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through provision of market intelligence and customer information.
• Create customer satisfaction by exhibiting a drive to exceed customer expectations.
• Engage in new business development to include lead generation, qualification, and development, resulting in new sales for UPM AdMat.
