Job summary

Hypermonk Games, a fast-growing mobile game studio based in Ankara, is seeking a Jr. Game Developer to join our team. You will help build prototypes, implement gameplay features, and write clean, efficient code that meets design requirements.

Ideal candidates have Unity and C# experience, a BS in CS or related field, and a passion for games. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and iterate on gameplay ideas.

About the Role

Hypermonk Games is a fast-growing mobile game studio based in Ankara, creating top-performing titles that have surpassed 120 million downloads worldwide. We are looking for a Jr. Game Developer to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing prototypes and proofs of concept for our new games
• Implementing gameplay mechanics based on design requirements
• Writing well-structured, clean, and efficient code following requirements
• Reviewing and optimizing the game, maintaining code, fixing bugs, and troubleshooting problems
• Working closely with those outside the development team to ensure that all aspects of the games are delivered to a high quality

Qualifications and Skills

• 1+ years of working experience with Unity
• Good programming skills in C#
• BS degree in Computer Science or related areas
• Analytical and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to produce prototypes of gameplay ideas and features
• Ability to polish the game, maintain code, and fix bugs
• Understanding of OOP programming
• Understanding of animation, UI, prefab, and particle systems in Unity
• Familiarity with game programming patterns, software architecture design, SOLID coding principles, and optimization
• Passion for games
