Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting on behalf of a major fashion retail group for a Junior Designer based in Bomonti, Istanbul. The role supports development of menswear and womenswear collections under senior design leadership, exposing you to the full design lifecycle from research to final collection execution.

You will conduct trend, color, and fabric research, assist in seasonal collections, create technical drawings in Illustrator and CAD, and help with tech packs and fittings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience or strong internship background.
• Passion for fashion with strong sense of trends, style and color.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trend, color, and fabric research; support moodboard preparation.
• Assist Senior/Head Designers in developing seasonal menswear collections.
• Create technical drawings using Illustrator and CAD tools.
• Support tech packs and sample development; track revisions.

The Junior Designer will support the development of menswear & womenswear collections, working closely with senior design leadership. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full design lifecycle, from research and concept creation to sample development and final collection execution.

As part of its expansion and investment in new brands, they are looking to strengthen its design team with a Junior Designer.

Description

• Conduct trend, color, and fabric research; support moodboard preparation
• Assist Senior/Head Designers in developing seasonal menswear collections
• Create technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator and CAD tools
• Support the preparation of technical packs (tech packs)
• Participate in sample development and fitting processes; track revisions
• Coordinate with suppliers and production teams when needed
• Provide operational support throughout the collection development process

Profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience or strong internship background
• Passion for fashion and a strong sense of trends, style, and color
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and preferably CAD tools
• Strong attentionn to detail and willingness to learn
