Lever, Inc. is seeking a Finnish-speaking Creative Writer to work remotely as a freelance contractor in Turkey. You will craft natural, culturally aware dialogue for a virtual assistant, ensuring consistency with global personality guidelines.

You will translate, localize, edit, and QA content, embedding dialogue into XML files with proprietary tools. This role offers flexible 16 hours per week and hourly compensation in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit creative dialogue for a virtual assistant based on current events, cultural trends, popular festivities, and other relevant topics.
• Refresh, refine, and improve existing dialogue to maintain quality, relevance, and consistency.
• Develop the virtual assistant's Finnish-language personality while maintaining alignment with worldwide character and tone guidelines.
• Review dialogue suggestions created by other writers and provide constructive editorial input.
• Translate and culturally adapt dialogue from English into natural, engaging Finnish.
• Perform editorial quality assurance to identify and correct linguistic, contextual, and stylistic issues.
• Embed completed dialogue into XML files using proprietary tools, with training provided as needed.
• Collaborate with the wider writing and localization team to continuously improve the quality and personality of the virtual assistant.
