Job summary

Çalık Enerji is seeking an Infrastructure Design Engineer for its Engineering Division at the Istanbul headquarters. The role focuses on design and analysis of infrastructure systems, including grading, drainage, roads, and pipelines, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will prepare design documents and review calculations, drawings, and BOQs, while ensuring alignment with project requirements and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10 years' experience in the design of infrastructure works.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Hydraflow, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS.
• Good command of English (B2 level or above).
• Experience in EPC or industrial facility projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analysis of infrastructure systems, including site grading, drainage, roads, utility networks and pipeline systems.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as design reports, calculations, drawings and bill of quantities.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines, customers and subcontractors to ensure alignment of infrastructure design with overall project requirements.
• Attend regular project meetings (weekly/biweekly) and provide technical input when required.
• Support site teams by responding to technical inquiries and providing clarifications.
• Ensure that design deliverables meet project timelines, standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the design of infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of relevant national and international codes and standards.
• Experience in EPC or industrial facility projects is an asset.
• Ability to prepare and review design drawings, calculations, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in engineering and drafting software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Hydraflow, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially within multinational project teams.
• Good command of English (B2 level or above).
• No travel restrictions.
