Job summary

Novonesis in Turkey seeks an Industry Technical Specialist for Beverages to lead technical customer support for juice applications and coordinate trials with customers and internal experts.

You will plan plant and laboratory trials, translate results into actionable recommendations, and help deploy new juice solutions regionally while training customers and colleagues. This role requires site presence and cross-cultural collaboration.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in food engineering, biotech or science.
• Minimum 5 years of beverage industry experience (juice knowledge preferred).
• Fluent in English; Turkish is a must.

• Translate trial results into clear technical recommendations, value arguments and next steps for customers and account teams.
• Apply and customize Novonesis service offerings, engaging global experts for high-complexity cases.
• Build regional juice capability through customer training, internal training and knowledge sharing.
• Document activities, outcomes and reusable learnings in technical service systems; ensure high-quality case data and timely closure.
• Support launches and regional deployment of new juice solutions, including early customer trials and post-launch troubleshooting.

• Lead technical customer support for juice applications, including needs clarification, process review, troubleshooting, solution selection and follow-up.
• Plan and execute plant and laboratory trials. Define success criteria, trial protocols, sampling plans and data requirements together with customers and internal experts.
• Translate trial results into clear technical recommendations, value arguments and next steps for customers and account teams.
• Apply and customize Novonesis service offerings, while engaging global application experts for high‑complexity or high‑priority cases.
• Build regional juice capability through customer training, internal training, application guidance and structured knowledge sharing.
• Document activities, outcomes and reusable learnings in the agreed technical service and knowledge systems; ensure high‑quality case data and timely closure.
• Support launches and regional deployment of new juice solutions, including early customer trials and post‑launch troubleshooting.

To succeed you must hold:

• Relevant advanced degree (M.Sc.) within food engineering, bio‑technology or science
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the Beverages industry (juice concentrate process knowledge preferred)
• Solid industrial experience in juice processing, beverage ingredients, enzymes or adjacent applications
• Experience with customer trials, data interpretation and industrial troubleshooting
• Fluent in English, Turkish is a must.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and across cultures
