Job summary

Pointr, a market leader in indoor mapping and analytics, seeks a Technical Project Manager to drive complex deployments for global clients from its Istanbul office. The TPM will coordinate cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and ensure timely delivery while supporting ongoing client success.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of IT project management or technical consultancy in hardware/software, strong English skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management or technical consultancy experience in a hardware or software company.
• Demonstrated ability to move in a fast-paced environment, learning on the job while juggling multiple deliveries.
• Experience leading the delivery and support phases of the customer lifecycle.
• A self-starter by nature with applied knowledge of agile software development processes and a strong interest in learning about indoor location technology

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to solve problems and foster relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders
• Process-oriented with an eye for detail and improvements

• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate fluently and idiomatically

Responsibilities

• Own requirements gathering, project planning, implementation, and deployment support for our global clients and partners, ensuring timely, efficient delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Own ongoing support of existing customers, including upgrades, expansion, and further product integration.
• Work with clients to identify and resolve mapping and wayfinding issues. Coordinate and solve these issues working closely with technical teams.
• Proactively partner with commercial and technical stakeholders, regularly educating them on Pointr’s solutions and deployment process while serving as a key partner to their success
• Closely collaborate with developers, designers, and deployment managers to integrate Pointr’s suite of technology with client applications
• Investigate and diagnose hardware and software challenges alongside Pointr’s delivery teams to ensure solution quality and sustainability
• Facilitate client status meetings to manage the scope and schedule of multiple, often concurrent deployments
• Learn! Master Pointr’s product suite to better understand how clients can use our technology and, in turn, supplement our product roadmap
• Engage in proactive and timely communication that consistently impresses our clients.
