We are currently looking for a Indirect Purchasing Executive to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines,
- Min +5 years of experience in purchasing,
- Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiations, preferably in logistics services,
- Strong communication and negotiation skills,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Advanced user of MS Office applications,
- Preferably knowledge of SAP,
- Experienced in building and maintaining effective internal customer and supplier relationships,
- Highly analytical, strong follow-up and project management competencies,
- Out of box thinking, crisis management skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Professional sourcing of logistics services for one of the sub-portfolios within Indirect Procurement across Lactalis Türkiye plants
- Procurement of Logistics Operations, warehousing and related value-added services in required quality, cost and service standards,
- Managing tender processes effectively, continuously developing alternative suppliers and leading sourcing activities both locally and globally,
- Creating and implementing category strategies, policies and processes to improve operational and financial performance,
- Contributing to cost reduction, efficiency improvement and logistics flow optimization initiatives,
- Visiting suppliers, warehouses and operational sites to understand processes, monitor service quality, develop alternatives and secure continuity of supply,
- Managing new supplier onboarding processes, monitoring service entries and ensuring invoice and payment alignment with agreed commercial terms,
- Ensuring stakeholders submit accurate and timely purchase requests in line with procurement governance,
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Operations) to ensure service continuity and performance alignment,
- Providing routine procurement support and interacting with all levels of the organization when required.
