Job summary

Fimple is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join the Fimple Delivery team in Istanbul. You will work on core banking implementation projects from start to go-live and post-go-live support, collaborating with clients to tailor the platform to their banking products.

We value agile, open-minded problem solvers who use AI tools to analyze requirements, write docs, and speed up delivery. Excellent communication and willingness to travel to client sites when needed are important.

Qualifications

• Must be currently living in Istanbul, Türkiye.
• 3+ years of experience in banking, in operations, core banking implementation, consulting or analysis.
• Solid knowledge of banking business processes (retail/corporate, deposits, lending, payments, ledger).
• Core banking knowledge: products, accounts, transactions and accounting end-to-end.
• Reading APIs (REST/JSON), writing SQL, understanding system integrations.
• Experience with Agile delivery and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Fluent English; strong communication and client-facing skills.
• No travel restrictions; willing to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Take part in end-to-end core banking implementation projects from requirement gathering to go-live and post-go-live support.
• Run workshops with clients to understand banking products, processes and regulatory needs.
• Perform gap analysis between client requirements and platform capabilities and suggest practical solutions.
• Configure and set up banking products and parameters on the platform (accounts, deposits, loans, payments, cards, onboarding, fees, accounting).
• Use AI-powered tools and automation to speed up analysis, documentation, testing and issue resolution.
• Write clear, concise functional documents (BRD, FSD, configuration workbooks, process flows).
• Prepare test scenarios and support SIT and UAT phases with clients.
• Support data migration by mapping and validating legacy data against the platform’s data model.
• Work with product, development and QA teams to deliver solutions and handle change requests.
• Train client users and create user guides.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues during implementation and go-live.
• Suggest improvements to delivery processes and help build a faster, smarter core banking implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take part in end-to-endcore banking implementationprojects, from requirement gathering to go-live and post-go-live support

• Write clear, concise functional documents, including business requirements, functional specifications, configuration workbooks and process flows

• Prepare test scenarios and supportSIT and UATphases with clients

• Support data migration activities by mapping and validating legacy data against the platform’s data model

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in banking, in banking operations, core banking implementation, functional consulting or business analysis

• Solid knowledge of banking business processes, such as retail and/or corporate banking, deposits, lending, payments, general ledger and accounting, and customer lifecycle

• Core banking business knowledge is a must:you understand how core banking products, accounts, transactions and accounting work end to end

• Understanding of how banking systems work, including products, parameters, end-of-day processes and integrations

• Hands-on experience with one or more core banking systems

• Hands-on use of AI tools in your daily work

• Examples of how you used AI or automation to improve a process or save time

• Basic technical skills: reading APIs (REST/JSON), writing SQL queries, understanding system integrations

• Experience with Agile delivery and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to turn business needs into clear functional requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a client-focused approach
