Job summary

WE Soda, the world’s largest producer of natural soda ash, is seeking a Finance & Reporting Specialist to join our Turkey/IFRS team. You will prepare quarterly and annual stand-alone and consolidated financial reports in line with IFRS and TFRS, collaborating with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, up to 5 years of finance experience (including 2 years at a Big4), and strong Excel and reporting tool skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent
• Preferably has up to 5 years of experience in Finance and Reporting, including at least 2 years at one of the Big4 audit firms.
• Technical knowledge of IFRS/TFRS and consolidation experience
• Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines
• Solid experience in MS office applications, especially in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent command of verbal and written English
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and yearly stand-alone and consolidated financial reports in accordance with IFRS and TFRS
• Coordinate with various departments and prepare recurring working trial balances and financial reporting packages
• Review financial performance and position of Group and its subsidiaries and ensure their financial statements are in line with Group Accounting Policies and IFRS/TFRS
• Ad hoc support on transactions with regards to IFRS/TFRS financial statements and analysis
• Communicate with various parties including external auditors and valuation firms
• Work with finance team to produce internal financial reports
