Job summary

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development seeks an Analyst to contribute to all phases of project cycles, including origination, structuring, execution, implementation and monitoring. You will work under supervision of senior bankers, perform due diligence, build financial models and analyze credit risk to support debt and equity transactions in line with the Bank’s objectives.

The role emphasises research, data gathering, and collaboration within a project team, with potential exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable.
• Quantitative/numerical skills with ability to interpret financial information and design financial models.
• Credit analysis skills and understanding of accounting principles for credit evaluation.
• Computer literacy with Excel and financial modelling packages.

Responsibilities

• Work as a project team member on transactions, contributing to all aspects of structuring and execution, including research of background materials and financial performance data; evaluate risks and prepare/update financial models.
• Assist with designing and processing technical cooperation assistance, including terms of reference and internal approval documentation.
• Communicate with internal units, clients and stakeholders, preparing drafts, presentations and following up on internal emails.
• Ensure tasks are completed within time frames to a high quality and in line with Bank policies.
