Job summary

ABL-TECHNIC is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to cultivate a robust Health, Safety & Environment culture across our manufacturing plant in Manisa. You will oversee chemical process safety, ensure compliance with Turkish regulations, and lead risk assessments and training initiatives.

Based in Manisa, you will work hands-on with production and maintenance teams, manage hazardous waste, and drive continuous safety improvements across the facility and its European sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, metal, chemical or surface treatment industries.
• Strong knowledge of Chemical Process Safety.
• Fluent in English for international environment.
• Based in Manisa.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety & Environment culture across the plant, leading by example with a strong field presence.
• Oversee safe handling, storage and use of chemical materials, ensuring robust process safety practices in surface treatment and coating removal operations.
• Act as the site's Occupational Safety Specialist, ensuring compliance with Turkish occupational health and safety legislation and all relevant permits and industry standards.
• Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or mitigate risks.
• Design and deliver HSE training programs, drills and awareness initiatives to build safe working habits among plant staff.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement of safety performance.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal and control thermal and mechanical stripping hazards, ensuring daily plant operations comply with occupational health and environmental protection regulations.
• Maintain a strong, hands-on presence on the shop floor, working closely with production and maintenance teams to embed safety in daily operations.

As part of the international industrial service provider ABL-TECHNIC, you will be working in a company with around 500 employees at 22 locations in 10 countries. Your tasks

• HSE Culture & Leadership: Develop, promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety & Environment culture across the plant, leading by example with a strong field presence.

Your profile

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, metal, chemical or surface treatment industries.


• Strong knowledge of Chemical Process Safety.


• Valid Occupational Safety Specialist certification, C-Class or higher.


• Fluent in English, with strong cross-cultural communication skills for an international working environment.


• Leadership skills to develop and maintain a strong HSE culture.
