The role requires RN licensure, BSN or equivalent, and 3+ years of clinical experience, with expertise in quality/risk management and CMS standards.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BSN or health-related Bachelor’s; ADN with four years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
• Experience in Performance Improvement, Case Management, Risk or Quality Management.
• Knowledge of local/state/federal employment rules.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes benchmarking data to determine compliance.
• Evaluates CMS standards compliance and participates in accreditation surveys.
• Conducts organized meetings and communicates findings to stakeholders.
• Reviews physician/staff complaints regarding patient care issues.
• Reviews charts for Core Indicators and potential litigation.
• Educates employees on Quality, Risk and Infection Control.
• Keeps knowledge updated on CDC, HFAP, and CMS standards.
• Oversees policy and procedure development and review.
• Manages multiple projects assigned by the manager/director.
• Maintains professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
