Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System seeks an analytics-focused professional to coordinate and design all reporting from the imaging services information system. The role acts as a liaison to ensure data integrity across departments and supports budgeting, decision support, and productivity reporting.

The incumbent will drive monthly processing tasks, troubleshoot system errors, and collaborate with management to deliver accurate analyses and actionable insights to improve patient care and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospital information systems.
• Strong verbal communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Experience with healthcare and/or specific departmental functions.
• Ability to read/write to understand complex information.
• Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Windows applications.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and designs all reporting generated by the departmental information system.
• Acts as intra- and interdepartmental liaison to ensure integrity of system data.
• Provides assistance with DSS modeling and data processing.
• Acts as Thomson Action Coordinator.
• Assists Genesis staff with benchmark analysis.
• Troubleshoot errors within Eclipsys and Action systems.
• Prepare flex budget upload for Accounting and data collection.
• Maintains communications with area manager/director regarding projects.
• Tracks information and completes detailed analyses reports.
• Manages department-specific programming tables and distributes information.
