Baymak Makine San. ve Tic. A.Ş. is seeking a Senior Quality, Sustainability and EHS leader in Istanbul to drive the strategy and execution of integrated management systems across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Environmental preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years in Quality, Sustainability, Environmental, and/or EHS management roles.
• Experience in multinational manufacturing environments with audits.
• Strong expertise in ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 50001, 45001).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, 45001, and 10002 systems.
• Manage end-to-end QA and QC processes with statistical tools.
• Oversee incoming quality and supplier evaluation to prevent non-conforming inputs.
• Lead 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Represent the company in audits and certification processes (TSE, CE).
• Develop supplier quality performance and sustainability programs.
• Drive waste reduction, energy management; ensure ISO 50001 compliance.
• Integrate OHS systems into quality frameworks and lead risk assessments.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement; coach teams.
• Provide KPI reporting and insights to management and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of integrated management systems including ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, 45001, and 10002.
• Manage end-to-end Quality Assurance and Control processes using statistical tools and process capability initiatives to ensure product excellence.
• Oversee Incoming Quality processes, ensuring materials and parts received from suppliers are evaluated against inspection, sampling, and acceptance criteria, and establish and continuously improve control mechanisms to prevent non‑conforming inputs from reaching production.
• Oversee root cause analysis activities and 8D problem‑solving methodologies to ensure sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and represent the company during internal, external, and global customer audits including certification processes such as TSE and CE.
• Monitor and develop supplier quality performance through evaluation and continuous development processes.
• Develop and execute corporate sustainability strategies aligned with global standards and environmental impact assessments.
• Drive waste reduction, resource efficiency, and energy management projects in full compliance with ISO 50001 and environmental regulations.
• Integrate Occupational Health & Safety systems into quality frameworks and lead risk assessment processes to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Implement Lean, Kaizen, and operational excellence initiatives to drive cross‑functional collaboration and a continuous improvement culture.
• Lead and coach the Quality, Sustainability, and EHS teams while providing strategic KPI reporting and performance insights to senior management in Türkiye and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental, or related fields).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Quality, Sustainability, Environmental, and/or EHS management roles.
• Proven experience in multinational companies or highly audited manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise in ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 50001, 45001).
• Experience with OEM/customer‑driven quality environments.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability frameworks.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and crisis management skills.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and strong analytical capabilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
